72 APPENDIX D Self-Assessment Survey Results The self-assessment survey results are based on responses from 18 participating agencies. The results are presented in two different formats. The first presents the result by the areas of emphasis according to the colors below for current and future (5 years) desired levels. The numbers on the right-hand side represent the difference between the desired future level and the current level summarized by area and question number. The higher the number (or percentage), the larger the difference between current and desired future levels, which means the agencies still require more effort to fully implement asset man- agement practices. The second set presents the raw data from the survey for each question by area and for current and future (5-year) levels.
