Contributions from individual attendees follow: ⢠Tampa International Airport is forming a Be Well Program and undertook a Desk to Runway 5K run for employees. ⢠San Francisco International Airport installed a hydration station to support the use of reusable water bottles. A yoga room was created. ⢠Social program training is often not mandatory, but sexual harassment prevention training is required. One airport is making social program training mandatory, similar to sexual harassment prevention training. ⢠A challenging experience is talking about partnerships with carriers and then developing a continued discussion on social issues with the carriers. ⢠An airport shared a negative experience with ineffective messaging. When language did not resonate with, or was not understandable by, a community, the airport experienced challenges. ⢠Remaining static means failure. Solely because something is the current culture, does not make it right. ⢠Change does not need to be large or monumental, but it starts the process.
