CONCLUSION
As the implementation phase of the DEI Action Plan begins, the ODI and DEI Council will work with identified leads and partners to outline the details—including the timeframe, deliverables, and evaluation metrics—of each action in this plan. In addition to collaborating with staff across the National Academies, external organizations (e.g., consultants, community groups) will continue to be involved in many of the activities. Over the course of the next five years, we will continue to pursue systemic change and accountability to foster an institutional culture that values and advances DEI.
