Alan Schultz, director of the Navy Center for Applied Research in Artificial Intelligence at the Naval Research Laboratory in Washington, D.C., conducts research on human-robot interaction, evolutionary robotics, learning in robotic systems, and adaptive systems. The recipient of an Alan Berman Research Publication Award, he has published more than 75 articles on machine learning and robotics.
