She has been actively involved in the development of ADA's evidence analysis process and in research projects focusing on evaluating the impact of nutrition services in Medicare Demonstration projects and in collaboration with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina. She is the ADA staff liaison with the Nutrition Care Process and Standardized Language Committee, which is developing and validating terminology to reflect nutrition care for standardized language systems and electronic health records.
