Eileen Sullivan-Marx, Ph.D., C.R.N.P., FAAN, R.N., is an active international and national consultant on nurse practitioner and geriatric practice issues, and she brings her international leadership reputation and skills to the forefront for University of Pennsylvania nursing students. With a strong background as a primary care nurse practitioner, she teaches the foundation course on assessment, health promotion, and critical thinking at the undergraduate level and lectures throughout the undergraduate and graduate courses on such topics as care of frail older adults in the local and global communities, models of care and payment policy, reimbursement for advanced practice nurses, and business and economic issues in health care delivery.
