... NCSU's WolfTrails alternative transportation program also uses several web-based tools to promote and facilitate ridesharing. An online carpool matching website for staff and faculty called www.sharetheridenc.org matches drivers and riders with similar schedules and routes, and identifies park-and-ride lots, public transit services, and bicycle routes convenient to the carpoolers.
