A small percentage of our vanpool program includes vans that are parked at train stations for groups to complete the first/last mile of their train commute I am a strong advocate of keeping the rideshare program separate from the transit provider. My experience when they are combined and run by the transit agency is that rideshare options like carpool and vanpool are considered secondary options.
