Alex Krist, M.D., M.P.H., is an associate professor of family medicine and population health at Virginia Commonwealth University and active clinician and teacher at the Fairfax Family Practice residency program. Vickey was vice president of Comprehensive Health Services, where he led the fitness and wellness division of the largest privately held occupational medicine company in the United States. From 1994 to 2005, he was the executive director of the White House Athletic Center, the fitness center serving the fitness, health, and wellness needs of the staff at the Executive Office of the President under the Clinton and Bush administrations.
