Fox has more than 25 years of research experience with child nutrition and food assistance programs. She has conducted research on the adequacy and quality of diets consumed by children, from birth through adolescence, and has examined the contributions of school- and childcare-based meal programs to children's dietary intakes and obesity risk. She was a co-principal investigator on the 2002 and 2008 Feeding Infants and Toddler Studies, which examined feeding practices and food and nutrient intakes among infants, toddlers, and preschoolers from birth to 48 months of age.
