Of special regulatory concern is the possible production of chlorinated diodes by recombination of the components produced in the primary agent destruction process. Chlorinated dioxides can be formed in waste gas streams where the temperature is iS0 to 400°C and where chlorine and reactive hydrocarbons are present.
