For example, many of the high-priority animal and human biology research topics are being targeted aggressively in ISS experiments, as the critical relevance of this research to biomedical countermeasures is already widely understood at NASA. Conversely, physical sciences research on the ISS has been more limited and has seen less progress in addressing decadal survey recommendations.
