1 Project Background Airports are made up of a complex set of interconnected systems that can rival those of a small city. Conducting timely, systematic maintenance activities on those systems with adequate resources is a challenging venture, but doing so is necessary to optimize airport operations and avoid negative impacts to airlines, the traveling public, and tenants.
