Initially focusing on the relief of congestion in this population, her current research includes the impact of outpatient therapy guided by ambulatory cardiac pressures, progression and regression of right ventricular dysfunction, optimal distribution of the limited hearts for cardiac transplantation, use of patient-reported functional outcomes to alter therapy, triage for advanced therapies, and palliative care for end-stage heart disease.
