47 Hotelling stated that while he has heard this for American, he believed what would make everybody feel comfortable getting on an airplane is that those that surround you had passed a temperature check. He added that it would be difficult for airlines to take that on because of the way people check in, adding that not everybody goes to the ticket counter and people go through security and then head to a concessionaire.
