In an effort to continue to understand suicide rates and trends in college campuses, the Big Ten university counseling centers decided to continue to collect data on deaths by suicides in their campuses. Data collection resumed in 2003 and it continues to be collected, with some data entered retrospectively and some data entered prospectively.
