We define binational sustainability partnerships as: "Organizations and individuals from different sectors and interest groups within the United States and Mexico, voluntarily coming together with organizations or individuals across the United States – Mexico border to address shared binational challenges and opportunities for sustainable development that isolated efforts or national initiatives would not be able to effectively accomplish."
