A Statement of Task A planning committee of the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine will organize and host a 1-day workshop to examine approaches to improving the ability of primary care clinicians to care for people with serious illness across care settings, with an emphasis on palliative care principles, practices, policies, and payment mechanisms.
