Katherine Thibault, National Ecological Observatory Network, Battelle, Science Lead, is a vertebrate ecologist, macroecologist, and project manager by training, with many years of experience conducting field research of small mammals, including rodents, shrews, and bats. After her postdoctoral fellowship in macroecology at Utah State University, she joined the NEON program in 2011 as its vertebrate ecologist responsible for the small mammal and breeding bird sampling and data products.
