She received a Commission on Life Sciences staff performance award in 1992, a Commission on Geosciences, Environment, and Resources staff performance award in 1995, and a Commission on Life Sciences group performance award in 1995. She has staffed studies on environmental information for outer continental shelf oil and gas leasing decisions in Alaska, protection and management of salmon in the Pacific Northwest, wetland characterization, biomonitoring of environmental status and trends, scientific bases for preservation of the Mariana crow, and valuing biodiversity.
