APPENDIX A – CONTRIBUTORS TO THE FOCUS GROUPS/TESTING SITES INTRODUCTION As a part of ACRP Report 65, the project team was tasked with testing the draft Guidebook for Airport Irregular Operations (IROPS) Contingency Planning at five sites which were chosen by the project panel. Prior to drafting the guidebook, the project team held two focus groups in order to gain an even greater understanding of the challenges associated with IROPS planning and to gather best practices prior to drafting the initial document. TRB’s Airport Cooperative Research Program (ACRP) Report 65: Guidebook for Airport Irregular Operations (IROPS) Contingency Planning is designed to help guide commercial passenger service airports of all sizes to develop, continually evaluate, and update their contingency plans for procedures pertaining to irregular operations (IROPS) that may cause significant disruptions to customers.
