Meeting Objectives:
- Address current laws, policies, and the leadership needed to ensure social justice and equity for children, youth, and families.
- Highlight “institutions” such as parenting, the juvenile justice system, foster care system, school system, and ways these institutions protect the development of children and youth in the context of social justice and equity.
- Focus on disparities resulting from discriminatory practices and policies, and missed opportunities for not investing in human capital.
- Discuss topics and priority areas for the IOM.
