K - 1 APPENDIX K – Useful Product Life Guidance

2004 AASHTO RAC Meeting Survey Form – The Number of Responses Received for Each Category of Useful Research Product Life Is Indicated Please check the box that in your opinion best represents the useful life of most research products in that category. Useful life is the period of time before the product is either significantly improved by later research or in some way becomes obsolete. There can be considerable variation in useful life between individual products within each category. The purpose of this exercise is to determine the usual or most frequent useful life occurrence for each general category of product.
