A P P E N D I X E Sample Guidelines for Courtesy Vehicle Use Policy E-1 Only visiting pilots may utilize the courtesy vehicle. The individual who checks out the courtesy vehicle must be of age and possess a valid driver’s license. Driver shall provide proof of insurance. Driver must acknowledge the airport courtesy vehicle guidelines and complete check out form. Driver shall limit passengers to those to whom he/she is responsible. Driver shall acknowledge and comply with local and state regulations. Vehicle usage is limited to no more than ____ hours and ____ miles from airport. Vehicle charges will apply for excess in hour and mileage limits. Vehicle shall not be utilized overnight unless approved and returned by 08:00 next day. Vehicle is loaned with the expressed specific restriction of no alcohol or drug use while operating the vehicle. Smoking is prohibited in vehicle. Vehicle must be returned in the same condition as when checked out. Damage to vehicle must be reported immediately and/or at the time of vehicle return. Vehicle must be returned to designated parking space and keys returned. Driver shall refill the vehicle’s gas. Donations for vehicle maintenance and overhead appreciated—tips welcomed!
